What is Coaching?
Coaching is a structured process focused on outcomes, whereby a
coach works with an individual or team to clarify issues, challenge
pre-conceptions and outdated thinking, generate solutions and action
to improve performance. The person being coached sets the agenda.
Coaching is about change. Coaching usually occurs
within the context of some dissatisfaction with the current situation.
Often this involves working with the coachee to clarify values,
purpose and vision then to set goals, explore options, develop strategies
and action plans.

Coaching will benefit middle /senior management and director level
executives. It will also benefit those being managed by the coachee
and the organisation as a whole.

How are Coaching Sessions delivered and
how often?
Coaching can be delivered by phone or face-to-face. Telephone sessions
are usually 1-1.5 hours and face-to-face 2 hours. There is no set
number of sessions but typically 5-8 are common with a gap of two
weeks in between.
