This approach has been continually refined and improved, and involves a multi-layered approach to build a picture of target accounts and uncover specific sales opportunities.He founded Martrain in 1997 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing and an NLP Master Practitioner.

Hector Taylor
Head of Research

As the most experienced researcher, Hector Taylor is responsible for operations at Martrain. Hector has a law degree from the London School of Economics and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

In his early twenties Hector worked in television production for MTV, HTV and Channel Five. Since then he has accumulated 15 years experience in B2B sales and marketing including major account sales for a tier 1 telco.

Keen but erratic golfer.

Andrew Vance
Senior Researcher & Campaign Manager

Andrew is responsible for the project management and delivery of client campaigns. He also developed and maintains Martrain’s proprietary database and coordinates client focussed marketing initiatives.

With a geography degree from UWE, Bristol he has almost a decade of B2B sales and marketing experience. Prior to joining Martrain Andrew held a number of lead generation, direct marketing and MarComms management positions in both IT and construction sectors.

Veronica has over 20 years experience in a range of industries in sales and senior management. She has worked for a tier 1 telco and a national bank, and has always excelled in customer facing roles which is demonstrated by her strong client empathy.

Louise Pearce
Senior Researcher & Campaign Manager

After completing a Masters degree in IT in 1992, Louise worked for a B2B software company as developer and support consultant. She went on to become Customer Services Manager before moving into New Business Development.

With her experience and insight into designing customer satisfaction surveys, Louise is responsible for implementing our market research campaigns using web based market research software.

Andy Burke
Senior Researcher

Andy has over 15 years IT solution sales experience. He is fully conversant with the UK major markets, having actively sold into most of them throughout his career.

In fact he was working as a sales manager for Pecaso UK when he first encountered the value of Martrain’s work, as we actually supplied leads for him. So he is unique among the staff here, having seen Martrain from both sides.
